How to Book
When reaching out to book with an artist we ask that you contact them directly via their preferred method Generally, email is best. Or fill out the form below. Please be sure to include as much info as possible, including: idea, placement, and a rough idea of sizing. If you have a budget you would like to work within, please include that as well.
If you do not have a specific artist, and would like to be paired with someone who suits your needs, please fill out the booking form below and we will be happy to assist you!
When booking an appointment at Eight Bells we ask that you are considerate of each artists specific style. We understand that many shops offer a broad spectrum of art styles, however, we are a small shop with artists who have dedicated their career to excel in their preferred style. While we may step outside of our comfort zones on occasion, we leave that entirely up to artist discretion. We want to make sure that we offer you the best quality work, and love every minute of it.
Policies
Each artist is responsible for their own bookings, and reserves the right to take a deposit of their choosing. These can range from $50-$150 depending on artist. This deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the cost of your tattoo. For larger pieces requiring more than one sitting, the deposit will be carried over to your last session. If you cancel, or do not give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule, the deposit will be forfeited, and you will be required to leave another deposit in the event you wish to reschedule. If you dramatically change your entire idea either in size or subject and notify your artist less than 72 hours before your appointment you will forfeit your deposit. You can only reschedule once with 48 hours notice; afterwards you will be required to leave another deposit. If you no call, no show, we reserve the right to not rebook, and your deposit is forfeited.
Please respect our studio and artists:
You must have a valid, government issued ID in order to receive services from our shop. There is absolutely no underaged tattooing, under any circumstances.
If you expect to be a few minutes late, please call the studio and notify the artist, if you are more than 20 minutes late and the artist does not have enough time for your tattoo due to lateness, then your deposit will be forfeited and you will have to reschedule.
NO FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed in the tattoo area, but please feel free to bring snacks or drinks to enjoy during breaks.
Friends are welcome! But please limit it to just one, and asking the artist in advance is always a great idea.
Unless the artist chooses to, there will be no preview sent to you of the design before the date of your appointment. However, there is time built in to every appointment to make any minor changes needed. If you wish to change your entire idea before the day of the appointment, you must give your artist 72 hours notice.
Regarding the use of numbing agents, please check with your artist before using. Because numbing agents can detract from the skins integrity numbing agents applied without permission from their artist can run the risk of having to reschedule to a later date, and forfeit their deposit.

*PLEASE NOTE Some artists may not currently have their books open, in these cases you may not receive a reply to your form right away. Please check each artists individual instagram accounts for alerts on whether or not the artists books are currently open or closed. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, and specialized nature of our shop, we are selective about which projects we take on, and booking is not guaranteed.
